Just Have to Record This Dr. Peterson Phrase

Dr. Jordan Peterson (perhaps along with The Daily Wire?) published a YouTube video on 05-Dec-2024 in which he sat down to interview Warren Smith, who was dismissed from his job as a teacher due to him publishing his own video where he is teaching a student (in an apparent one-on-one setting) how to think critically about an X posting from J.K. Rowling.  In it, Dr. Peterson said the following in the introduction, which very well could have been the title (except the title actually was "Fired for Honesty and Competence: One Genuine Teacher's Story | Warren Smith | EP 504"):

The consequences of saying what you think when the situation is set up to reward you for maintaining your silence.

That is oh so true.  There are so many times it would seem helpful to communicate some things, until you think of the second- and third-order effects.

English is a difficult enough language to interpret correctly when its rules are followed, let alone when the speaker or writer chooses not to follow those rules.

"Jeopardy!" replies and randomcaps really suck!
