It's probably no surprise that I admire a lot of things about Glenn Beck. But seriously...I have not seen a "this site works best with" banner on a Web site since Internet Explodrer was viable. A banner at the top of glennbeck.com/torch reads:
Browser Not Supported: This website is optimized for Chrome and Safari. You may experience issues with other browsers.
I see. It's not like I'm visiting the site with Konqueror or Dillo. This is Firefox. This even displays in Edge. Seriously, do you have any handle on how many people don't bother with a browser other than Edge because that's what came with their OS? Or worse for Glenn Beck, do you realize how Microsoft nags you not to switch your default browser?
I guess you don't want my $8/month or $96/year, at least not that badly.
English is a difficult enough language to interpret correctly when its rules are followed, let alone when the speaker or writer chooses not to follow those rules.
